These conditions apply to every tour booked with Eagle’s Path Travel through this website, by email, or by WhatsApp. By making a booking you accept them on behalf of everyone in your party. Please read them — they are short and written in plain English on purpose.
Eagle’s Path Travel is a licensed tour operator based in Tirana, Albania, running day tours across the country. Contact: booking@eaglespathtravel.com.
Submitting our booking form or messaging us is a request, not a confirmed booking. Your place is confirmed only when we reply by email to confirm the departure and your pickup time. Until then, we cannot guarantee availability.
You must be at least 18 to make a booking. Please give us accurate contact details and pickup address — if we can’t reach you or find you, we can’t take you on tour.
Prices are shown per person on each tour page and are in euros. Payment is made in cash to your guide on the day of the tour. We accept euros and Albanian lek. No deposit is taken and we never ask for your card details.
Each tour page states what is included and what is not. Unless stated otherwise, the price covers transport, hotel pickup and drop-off in our stated pickup areas, and your guide. It does not cover meals, drinks, personal spending, or site entrance fees and boat tickets specific to that tour. Please bring cash for those.
We may change advertised prices at any time, but the price we confirm to you in writing is the price you pay.
You may cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before your confirmed departure time by email or WhatsApp. As no payment is taken in advance, there is nothing to refund.
If you cancel inside 24 hours, or do not appear at the agreed pickup point within 15 minutes of the agreed time and we cannot reach you, the booking is treated as a no-show. We do not charge a fee for this, but we ask you to respect that a seat was held for you and to tell us as early as you can.
You may change your date free of charge, subject to availability.
Occasionally we have to cancel or alter a tour — most often for weather, road conditions, or safety. If we cancel, we will offer you an alternative date, a different tour, or simply cancel at no cost to you. As nothing has been paid in advance, you owe us nothing.
We may make minor changes to an itinerary — the order of stops, time spent somewhere, or the route — where conditions on the day require it. Your guide will always explain why.
We may cancel a departure if the minimum number of travellers is not reached. We will tell you as early as we can and offer alternatives.
Albania’s mountains and coast are subject to real weather. If conditions would make a tour unsafe or genuinely spoil it — storms, flooding, snow closing a mountain road, or a boat operator suspending service — we will contact you in advance and offer alternatives under clause 5. Tours are not cancelled for ordinary rain or cloud.

Your guide may end a person’s participation in a tour, without refund, if their behaviour is unsafe, abusive, or seriously disruptive.
Most of our tours are easy and suit all ages. Some — notably the Gamti Mountain hike at Bovilla Lake — involve walking over rocky, uneven ground and require reasonable fitness. Each tour page describes the physical demands. It is your responsibility to choose a tour you can comfortably do. If you’re unsure, ask us before you book; we will tell you honestly.
Optional activities such as swimming, hiking beyond the group, or kayaking are undertaken at your own risk and judgement.
Children are welcome on all our tours and must be accompanied by a responsible adult who remains fully responsible for their supervision and safety throughout. Please tell us their ages when booking so we can plan the day and the vehicle.
We strongly recommend that you have valid travel insurance covering medical treatment, accident, personal belongings and repatriation for the activities you intend to do. Our operator liability insurance does not cover your personal medical costs, lost property, or your own travel disruption. You travel with us on the understanding that you have arranged your own cover.
We accept responsibility for the tour services we provide being supplied with reasonable skill and care, and for the negligent acts of our employees and guides while acting within the scope of their work.

Nothing in these conditions limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Some tours include services operated by third parties, such as the Komani Lake ferry, boat operators, or national park facilities. We select partners carefully, but these services are also subject to their own operators’ terms, schedules and conditions.
We sometimes take photographs on tour and may use them on our website or social media. If you would rather not appear in them, just tell your guide — no explanation needed, and it will be respected.
If something goes wrong, tell your guide immediately so we have a chance to fix it on the day. If it can’t be resolved there, email booking@eaglespathtravel.com within 28 days of your tour and we will investigate and respond properly.

These conditions are governed by the law of the Republic of Albania, and any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the Albanian courts.
We may update these conditions. The version in force is the one published on this page at the time you make your booking.
