Who we are

Eagle’s Path Travel is a tour operator based in Tirana, Albania. We run small-group and private day tours to Bovilla Lake, Komani Lake, Berat, the Blue Eye, Ksamil and the Albanian Riviera, with hotel pickup from Tirana, Durrës and Golem. Our guides are licensed, English-speaking, and Albanian — they grew up on these roads.

We’re not a marketplace or a reseller. When you book with us, you’re booking with the people who actually operate the tour. That means the person who answers your WhatsApp message is the same operation that shows up at your hotel in the morning.

What makes us different

  • We solve the road problem. Several of Albania’s best places — Bovilla in particular — sit at the end of unpaved mountain tracks that rental car insurance won’t cover. We drive them weekly.
  • Accessibility we actually mean. Our Bovilla tour includes an SUV option that reaches the viewpoint with no hiking — so guests with knee, heart or mobility concerns can see the panorama most operators tell them they can’t.
  • Small groups. The trail experience at 6 people is not the trail experience at 18.
  • Honest pricing. Our tours start at €30 per person. What’s included and what isn’t is written on every tour page, before you book.
  • Pickup that means pickup. From your hotel or apartment in our covered areas — not “meet us at a square 15 minutes away.”

Where we operate

We depart daily from Tirana, Durrës and Golem, covering:

  • Near Tirana: Bovilla Lake and the Gamti Mountain viewpoint, Dajti Mountain National Park
  • Northern Albania: Komani Lake and Shala River, in the Albanian Alps
  • Central Albania: Berat, the UNESCO “City of a Thousand Windows,” and Belsh Lake
  • Southern Albania: the Vjosa River, the Blue Eye spring, Saranda and Ksamil
  • The Riviera: Vlora, the Llogara Pass and Dhërmi
  • Wildlife: Divjaka-Karavasta National Park and its Dalmatian pelicans
