Yes. All of our day tours run on scheduled departures with limited seats, so we ask you to reserve your place in advance. Same-day requests are sometimes possible if space remains — message us on WhatsApp and we’ll check immediately. Booking at least 24 hours ahead is strongly recommended in July and August, when tours to Bovilla Lake, Komani Lake and Ksamil fill up several days out.
Choose your tour, click Book Now, and fill in the booking form with your name, contact details, departure date, number of travellers and your hotel or pickup address. We reply by email — usually within a few hours — to confirm availability and your exact pickup time. Your place is confirmed once you receive that email from us. If you’d rather book over WhatsApp, that works too.
Not automatically. Submitting the form sends us a request, and you’ll get an instant acknowledgement email. Your booking is confirmed once we reply to confirm the departure and your pickup time. If a date is already full, we’ll offer you the nearest alternative.
Yes — every tour we run can be operated privately for your group alone, with a flexible departure time and the freedom to adjust the itinerary. Private tours are priced per vehicle rather than per person, so they get better value the larger your group. Contact us with your dates and group size and we’ll send you a price.
You pay your guide directly on the day of the tour, in cash. No deposit and no card details are required to reserve your place. We accept euros and Albanian lek.
The tour price covers your transport, hotel pickup and drop-off, and your guide. Not included are lunch and drinks, personal spending, and any site entrance fees or boat tickets specific to that tour — for example castle or national park entry, or the Komani Lake ferry. Each tour page lists exactly what is and isn’t included, so there are no surprises. Bring some cash for these; they’re modest.
No. Just bring yourself and a valid ID or passport. Your guide will have your name on the day’s list.
We pick up from hotels and accommodation in central Tirana and in Durrës at no extra cost. Give us your address when you book and we’ll confirm your pickup time by email. If you’re staying outside these areas, tell us where — we can usually arrange a nearby meeting point.
Most tours depart early in the morning — typically between 07:00 and 08:00, depending on the destination and your pickup location — and return to Tirana in the evening. Your exact pickup time is confirmed by email the day before. Please be ready in your hotel lobby five minutes before the agreed time.
Comfortable, air-conditioned vehicles sized to the group — from a car or minivan for small groups up to a minibus. For Bovilla Lake, the final section of the route is an unpaved mountain track, so that tour uses a 4×4 SUV.
Our guides are local and speak English. If you need another language, ask us when you book and we’ll tell you what we can arrange.
Comfortable clothes and, above all, proper closed walking shoes with grip — several of our tours involve uneven stone, gravel or rocky ground. Bring a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen from May to September; Albanian summer sun is strong. For mountain tours such as Bovilla or Komani, add a light jacket — it’s noticeably cooler and windier at altitude, even in August. For coastal tours, pack swimwear and a towel.
Water, sunscreen, a hat, some cash for lunch and entrance fees, your ID or passport, and a camera. That’s genuinely it. We’ll tell you if a specific tour needs anything else.
Most of our tours are easy and suit all ages and fitness levels — the walking is short and optional. The exception is the Gamti Mountain hike at Bovilla Lake, which is roughly 1.5–2 hours round trip over rocky terrain and needs reasonable fitness. If you’d rather skip the hike, we can drive you close to the viewpoint instead — just tell us when you book.
Yes, families are very welcome on all of our tours. Tell us the ages of your children when you book so we can plan the day and the vehicle appropriately.
You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before your departure time — just email or message us. Since no payment is taken in advance, there is nothing to refund. Cancellations inside 24 hours, or not showing up at the agreed pickup point, mean we’ve held a seat that someone else could have used, so please do let us know as early as you can.
If conditions make a tour unsafe or would spoil the experience — heavy storms, or snow closing a mountain road — we’ll contact you in advance and offer you an alternative date, a different tour, or a full cancellation at no cost. We would rather move your day than give you a bad one.
Yes, subject to availability. Let us know as early as possible and we’ll move you to another departure at no charge.
Email us at booking@eaglespathtravel.com or message us on WhatsApp at +355 67 562 6404 — we’re a small local team and we answer personally, usually within a few hours.
