Eagle’s Path Travel (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website eaglespathtravel.com and runs day tours in Albania. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. We are the data controller for the information described here.
Eagle’s Path Travel is a tour operator based in Tirana, Albania.

Our booking and contact forms ask for your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, your chosen tour and departure date, the number of travellers, your hotel or pickup address, and any special requests or message you send us. We may also record a referral code if you use one.
We use this only to arrange and deliver your tour: to confirm availability, agree a pickup time, pass your pickup address to your driver and guide, and contact you if plans change. We cannot run the tour without it.
Legal basis: performance of a contract with you, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
Like most websites, our servers automatically log your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. We use Google Analytics (via MonsterInsights) to understand which pages and tours people find useful, and Jetpack for basic site statistics and security. These tools use cookies and may process your data outside Albania.
Legal basis: your consent, and our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and working well.
We collect the data shown in the comment form, plus your IP address and browser user agent string, to help detect spam. An anonymised string derived from your email address may be sent to the Gravatar service to check whether you use it.
If you opt in, we store your email address with Mailchimp in order to send you occasional updates about our tours. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data to anyone. We do not collect or store your card details — tours are paid in cash to your guide on the day. We do not send marketing emails to people who have not asked for them.
We share your data only with the people and services needed to run your tour or the site:
If you book one of our tours through a third-party marketplace such as GetYourGuide, that platform’s own privacy policy governs the data you give them.
Booking enquiries and confirmations are kept for up to 3 years after your tour, so we can handle any follow-up, complaint or accounting requirement. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Website comments and their metadata are kept indefinitely so we can recognise follow-up comments. Analytics data is retained according to Google’s default settings.

If you’re in the EU or EEA and you’re unhappy with our response, you have the right to complain to your national data protection authority. In Albania, this is the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (IDP).
Our site is served over HTTPS and protected by a web application firewall and malware scanning. Access to booking data is restricted to the people who need it to run your tour. No system is perfect, but we take reasonable steps to keep your data safe.
Our website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16 except the names and ages of children travelling as part of a family booking made by an adult.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
